Mammal announces New Blood Tour
New World Artists, Exclusive Booking Agents for Mammal in Australia & NZ.
In a world of auto-tune, backing tracks and digital algorithms Australian punk/funk warriors Mammal represent the past, present and future of rock and roll.
Since forming in 2006 in Narrm, VIC Mammal have carved out an unshakeable reputation for incendiary live performances, timeless song writing and working-class political activism that has delivered them an ever-growing cult status amongst the heavy music community around the world.
Lead by their fearless front-man Ezekiel Ox, fuelled by Zane Rosanoski’s blistering dance-floor rhythms, all of which is cocooned by Pete Williamson’s angular classic rock riffage, the band is currently enjoying a creative renaissance after enlisting the bottom-end services of bass guru Kade Turner in 2020, following the departure of Nick Adams from the bass chair.
Before breaking-up in 2010 Mammal had established themselves as a legitimate “must-see” rock act globally, with singles ‘Smash The Piñata’, ‘The Majority’, ‘Hell Yeah’ and ‘Think’ being spun on Australia’s national youth broadcaster Triple J and high rotation spins of their film-clips on UK television.
Mammal boast a catalogue of 4 singles, 1 EP, 2 live albums, a live DVD and a studio album. They have volunteered their peerless live services for charity fundraising, supporting Interchange (Disability services), the Refugee Action Collective (Asylum Seeker support) and Fitzroy Legal Service (Legal Aid). The band walk the walk when it comes to fighting for the most vulnerable in society.
Their still evolving legacy has seen them sell out headline shows from London to Perth, Auckland to Brisbane as well as support Kiss, Avenge Sevenfold, Sebastian Bach, Cog, Grinspoon, Spiderbait and Shihad along the way. The band also have performed onstage collaborations with Broadway composer and actor Eddie Perfect, violinist Xani Kolac, drum-lord Lucius Borich and rapper Horrorshow, proving that they have friends in the highest musical places. Add to this festival appearances at Big Day Out, Pyramid Rock Festival, Groovin’ The Moo and Homebake (to name a few) Mammal has a proven track record of delivering on the biggest stages and leaving audiences breathless and bouncing.
Get onboard, strap yourself in and open your mind, Mammal is ready to lay down the lore again. Rock and roll is better for it.
