The Brave Announce AURA Album Tour featuring Pridelands

After revealing their sophomore record Aura in April, Brisbane metallers The Brave are amping up the momentum with the announcement of a national headline tour throughout August. The album garnered a whopping 9/10 rating from Discovered Magazine, nabbed compliments from  Hysteria ("gritty, vulnerable and full of visceral emotion") and Wall of Sound ("a true demonstration of well-written music") and has amassed over half a million Spotify streams in its debut month.

Already a live force in their own right, The Brave are also set to bring Pridelands
on the road as supports, cementing this tour as an absolute monster.

"Taking 'Aura' on the road is a very exciting prospect for us. To demonstrate these songs in the setting we envisioned when writing the album is, in a nutshell, why we play music," says the band of the tour announcement.

"We are continually striving to enhance the live experience of our music, and better ourselves as musicians along the way. This album tour will encompass the accumulation of over a year of preparation and growth as a band – with a live performance and atmosphere to match.”

Wrapped in moody, genre-blending metalcore, Aura celebrates love and connection, while starkly shining a light on themes of loss and learning to let go. It spawned knockout singles including 'Technicolor', 'Desolation'  and 'Ethereal', which have enjoyed love across the likes of The Faction and triple j's short.fast.loud between them, as well as 'Burn' which garnered massive playlist nods including New Music Friday US (3.1m followers) and New Music AU/NZ (290k followers) as well as New Noise, Rock Out and New Metal Tracks.

The Brave will command stages in Fremantle, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne along the Aura tour, before rounding the festivities out in their hometown of Brisbane. Tickets are on sale from 9am AEST, Thursday May 16.
