SUMMERNATS MAJOR NEW CONCERT LINE-UP ANNOUNCEMENT

Jimmy Barnes has announced today that he requires back and hip surgery which will, unfortunately, prevent him from performing live for several months. This means Jimmy can’t perform at Summernats 35. The Aussie rock icon is completely confident of making a full recovery and has already committed to headlining Summernats 36 in January 2024.

The Summernats team has been working around the clock to pull together an awesome Aussie music line-up for Friday night at Summernats 35. Friday night’s mega Aussie rock show will now star Jon Stevens, Daryl Braithwaite, DIESEL, and Shannon Noll in a four-hour super concert.

Andy Lopez from Summernats said “We were really disappointed to hear about Jimmy’s situation, and we’re sending him all our love and good vibes for his recovery. At the same time, we wanted to make sure we delivered something really special for our fans, and this is definitely the biggest night of music we’ve ever put on at the Nats. Jon Stevens is going to play his Noiseworks classics and all the great songs from his time fronting INXS. DIESEL has to be one of Australia’s coolest rock and rollers with his killer band and a swag of hits. “

We wish Jimmy all the best and can’t wait to see him at Summernats 36.”

Sunday night is also massive at Summernats 35 with Aussie hip hop royalty Bliss N Eso headlining with dance music legends the Stafford Brothers and Australia’s favourite party DJ Brooke Evers.
